Payment

Is there any special fee or discount available?
For two (2) and four (4) delegates who are registered under the same company, the delegates are entitled to 10% discount on the ticket base price.
For five (5) delegates and above who are registered under the same company, please contact us at (603) 4270 5402 for special package rate.
If you have previously attended any of CLJ events, you are entitled to a 10% discount. Please fill in your Discount Code on the registration form.
For young lawyers with less than five years of experience, you are entitled to a special fee of RM990.
Terms & conditions apply for the special fee and discount stated above.

How can I pay?
You can make payment via any methods below:

1. Bank in to The Malaysian Current Law Journal's CIMB Islamic Bank Berhad (Account number: 86-0227441-7). Please email the complete details with bank-in slip for proof of payment to priority@cljlaw.com, or fax to (603) 4270 5402, attention to: Marketing)
2. Cheque to be made payable to The Malaysian Current Law Journal Sdn Bhd
3. We accept Visa and Master credit cards. Please provide the following details:
   • Issuing bank
   • Name on card
   • Credit card no
   • Expiry date

When should I pay for the conference?
Companies/delegates are required to submit the registration forms which have been signed and stamped.

Full payment of the conference shall be made within fourteen (14) days from the date of the invoice issuance or the event day, whichever earlier. Otherwise, entry will be denied. Malaysian Current Law Journal (MCLJ) will issue a Proforma Invoice or Sales Order for the companies’ accounts department to process payments.

To be entitled to the early bird promo price, company/delegate has to register and remit full payment on or before the early bird end date.

Can I pay on the conference day?

Yes. If you have previously registered with us, please provide a Letter of Undertaking (LOU) or a Purchase Order (PO) at least 5 working days before the conference.

HRDF claim
Is the Conference HRDF Claimable? If yes, under which scheme?
Yes. Malaysian Current Law Journal is registered with HRDF under the Skim Bantuan Latihan (SBL)/ Normal scheme.

How do I claim under HRDF?

CPD points
How can I claim my CPD points?
If you are a practising lawyer, you are required to provide MCLJ your Bar Council (BC) number during the registration. Your CPD will be automatically updated with the Bar Council after the conference.

Cancellation & Refund:
Can I cancel my registration and get a refund?
If delegate(s) decide to cancel their enrollment, a cancellation policy shall be applied as follows:

1. Written cancellation received before 5 April 2016: A refund of 80% will be made.
2. Written cancellation received before 12 April 2016: A refund of 50% will be made.
3. Written cancellation received after 12 April 2016/no show on the day of conference: No refund will be entertained.

If I am unable to attend the conference, will I be able to send a substitute?
Yes, you must notify us by email (priority@cljlaw.com) at least 5 working days before the conference if you wish to send a substitute. Any differences in fees will be charged accordingly. Delegate may not share a pass between multiple attendees.

How will I know my registration is successful?
A confirmation email will be sent to each delegate after payment is processed by MCLJ. If you do not receive a confirmation from MCLJ one week before the conference, please call us at 03-42705400.

Meals
Vegetarian dietary requirement
Please let us know if you have vegetarian dietary requirement by replying to the confirmation email, which will be sent to you after your payment is processed.

Venue and Accommodation
Is there a special room rate for delegates?
Yes, please download the hotel reservation form from here.
You will need to organise your own accommodation for the conference. Where possible, we would recommend you to stay at the St Giles The Gardens where the conference is hosted, for convenience. The other hotels available in the vicinity are Cititel and Boulevard Hotel.

How can I get to the venue?
The venue phone number is listed within the conference information. Once registered, you will receive a Hotel & conference Venue Location Map. Location details are also available on the event website. Please contact us if you require any further information or assistance.
