yard "yard" means any area or place used for checking, inspecting, seasoning, selling, storing, packaging, preserving or bundling timber, and includes any area, place or premises where timber, intended to be used in the manufacture of any article or in the erection of any building or structure, is seasoned, preserved or offered for sale.
