holding "holding" means a holding constituted in accordance with the provisions of this Act;

holding "holding" means a piece of land (not being mining land or State land) duly surveyed under this or any other written law for the time being in force in the State and on the appointed day being delineated on a plan certified by or on behalf of the Director of Survey as a lot or lots delimited, except as otherwise provided in sections 29 and 30, by right-line boundaries;

holding "holding" means any piece or parcel of land in an area comprised in a Housing Scheme or a Housing and Redistribution Scheme held or possessed by the owner under a single title (including in Kelantan land held by entry in a Settlement Index) and "original holding" and "final holding" mean respectively, with reference to a Housing and Redistribution Scheme made under section 38, a holding prior to its amalgamation with other holdings for the purpose of redistribution and a holding allotted in pursuance of such redistribution:

holding Provided that in the States of Malacca and Penang, "holding" means a piece or parcel of land to the full extent whereof the same is in the actual possession of the owner by himself or other person holding by, through or under him, whether the same is held under one or more than one title and whether the same is or is not wholly comprised in the title or titles relating thereto;

holding "holding" means any land, with or without buildings thereon, which is held under a separate document of title and in the case of subdivided buildings, the common property and any parcel thereof and, in the case of Penang and Malacca "holding" includes messuages, buildings easements and hereditaments of any tenure, whether open or enclosed, whether built on or not, whether public or private, and whether maintained or not under statutory authority;
