Langkawi "Langkawi" means the Langkawi Island and all adjacent islands lying nearer to Langkawi Island than to the mainland. 91B. Dutiable goods in Langkawi. The provisions of this Act shall not apply to goods manufactured in Langkawi, other than the following: (i) petroleum and petroleum products; and (ii) any other goods which the Minister may from time to time declare by order published in the Gazette. 91C. Goods manufactured in Langkawi shall be deemed to be manufactured outside the Federation. Goods subject to excise duty, other than those referred to in section 91B, when manufactured outside the Federation and when moved from Langkawi to the other territories in the Federation shall be deemed to be import into those territories and the provisions of the Customs Act 1967 (Act 235) shall apply. 91D. Goods manufactured in other territories of the Federation shall be deemed to be export when moved to Langkawi. Goods subject to excise duty, other than those referred to in section 91B, manufactured in other territories of the Federation when moved to Langkawi shall be deemed to be export from such territories to a place outside the Federation for the purpose of sections 19 and 28 (c).".
