Applies to a dwelling house let as a separate dwelling where the landlord is a local authority, housing association and trust, new town corporation, etc., and the tenant is an individual, occupying the dwelling house as his only or principal home, or, in the case of a joint tenancy, each tenant is an individual, and at least one of them occupies of dwelling house as his only a principal home. A secure tenancy which is neither a weekly or other periodic tenancy, or a tenancy for a term certain, but subject to termination by the landlord, cannot be brought to an end by the landlord except by obtaining an order for possession:
