liquidated demand Every writ indorsed with a claim for a debt or liquidated demand only, must state the amount claimed and also bear a prescribed indorsement for costs in case the defendant may elect to pay within eight days after servive. Also it must give sufficient particulars to disclose the nature of the contract giving rise to the claim.
