As in call made by a company whereby directors are eompowered to ask shareholders for instalments of payment for shares. Calls cannot be made until the minimum subscription has been allotted, 3. As in call on contributories whereby a company or its liquidator makes a demand on those liable to contribute to the payment of debts.
