aggravated assault An assault upon a boy under 14 or any female of an aggravated nature ; i.e. by its violence (s. 43 of he Offences against the Person Act (1861, as amended by Criminal Justices Act 1925, s.39 and the Criminal Justice Act 1967, Sched. 3, part I). A matrimonial order may be made on the ground of aggravated assault (Matrimonial Proceedings (Magistratess Courts) Act 1960, s.l(D). |
